Hyman Avenue: the Aspen Art Museum Shop
Inside the museum, the Aspen Art Museum Shop (637 E Hyman Ave) has the deepest Aspen list. Keith Mayerson's collaboration with the museum covers an Aspen Highlands poster, a Map of Aspen poster, a John Denver and The Muppets poster, postcards, a Kermit on Highlands tee and a picnic blanket. There's also an Aspen Art Museum snow globe, Color Me Aspen, Designing Aspen: The Houses of Rowland+Broughton, and an Urs Fischer Aspen sweatshirt and denim jacket. Members get 10% off.
Aspen leaves in gold
A few blocks north of the malls, Caitlin Dunn Jewelry (110 E Hallam St, Ste 123) makes handmade jewelry inspired by nature. Pick the Mini Aspen Leaf Necklace.
For a splurge, The Aspen Hive (429 E Cooper Ave) carries pieces from US-based goldsmiths and designers, including Aspen Branch Earrings and a 14k aspen leaf with a skier. Its site says online prices are subject to change, so call ahead.
Durant Avenue: Gorsuch at The Little Nell
At the base of Aspen Mountain, Gorsuch (611 E Durant Ave) sells its own bone china Aspen Ornament, made in England, and Assouline's Aspen Style.
